There's a decent chance Poling gets activated pretty quickly. The Dolphins only kept six LBs, and one (Mike Hull) could go on IR. But he has to be on the initial roster week 1 to be eligible for IR.

Falcolns picked for the practice squad TE Jaeden Graham instead of Mangen. The practice squad also includes TE Alex Gray, but he's a special case, part of some international program, and is the 11th member of the 10 man practice squad. They actually still have a space open on the practice squad, but adding yet another TE seems highly unlikely.

The Steelers opted not to put a DT on the practice squad, and the only DL player on the practice squad is DE Lavon Hooks. Instead they added 2 RB, 2 WR, and 2 LB on the practice squad.

Basham waived by the Colts today unfortunately. Sounds like they needed to add RB depth.

The Jets defense is pretty banged up,so that could help him.

They also announced yesterday that their Defensive Coordinator would be missing Sunday's game because of a "serious illness".

According to the papers out here,the Jets Defensive Coordinator just got medical clearance to return to the team.

The papers didn't say if he made any "visits" to the Tets during his medical leave.
But this will be the first time he'll be "officially involved" since he went out with his "illness".
Hopefully,Basham can impress.

Mike Mitchell came in and played right away and got 6 tackles. Blair Brown and Tarrell Basham have not recorded any stats. Carrie is playing pretty well. I don't know what the Brown's are thinking, they are thin at linebacker, it is time to sign Poling.

The return was his career long for an INT. Previous long was 38 yds.
