So I guess Kent St. is not going to help us out. Crazy wind.

I doubt that anyone seriously expected to get help from Kent.

BTW, the worst team in the MAC will be decided this week with BG at CMU. I'm surprised that's not ESPN's Saturday night Prime Time game.

Buffalo 12-1 in their last 13 games, 9 MAC wins in a row, dating back to last year.

Sounds like the are due for a loss! Maybe next week in Peden?

Any hey, if they do stay on this tear and win the MACC, Leipold will probably be hired away and they will come back down to earth most likely.

I have thought all along that BG will beat Buffalo in their last game. This opportunity for BG would help them put the year behind them on a positive note, and this has happened before.
Buffalo plays on the road for their last 2 game as well.

Kind of crazy that Buffalo is the king of MAC football and basketball in this moment.

Not sure anyone would've guessed that three years ago.

Kind of makes you long for the days of 2011-12 when Ohio was in a similar position

It's extremely bizarre for me as I believe they were at the bottom or close to it in both football and basketball when I was at Ohio (although they managed to beat the Cats 2 of the 4 years I was there in the Knorr era, minus Grobe's final season).

What's weird is Kent has a habit of winning games like this occasionally, even when it seems hopeless. I admit I had a glimmer of hope until I saw the first quarter score and have to assume they're just playing out the string now. Hopefully it's just making Buffalo overconfident.

As for tonight, I wonder if we're better off getting a stiff test from Miami or if another blowout helps keep us rested for next week's showdown. Either way, just win of course.
