Saragin ratings as of today have Ohio #1 in the MAC and 3 points better than the second ranked team (Northern Illinois).
MAC Conference stats only, meanwhile, has Ohio leading the conference in points per game (41.1) and second in points allowed (19.9 to Northern's 18.6), with a per game point differential 21 points way ahead of the pack.
If one were only looking at stats you would conclude it has been a year of domination of the league. Oh well, file another in the "what might have been" kind of year.

I believe the Cats actually finished ahead of all MAC teams last year in the Sagarin rankings. Alabama did not win their Conference championship, but finished as the national champion based largely on rankings. Using this logic, the Cats are on their way to being repeat MAC champs. Frank has really built a juggernaut!

In full disclosure:
1. I wrote this in hopes of making a few heads explode
2. I'm going to enjoy my Sunday and not read any replies
3. I might be kidding about #2

The ease of the Buffalo win started to get frustrating knowing that no margin could equate to a second loss for Buffalo.

Didn't we have one of our old Temple trolls come on here and say we beat Cincinnati by a touchdown and they beat you by 4 so we would crush you if we played? I almost want to go hunt him down on a Temple board and say Buffalo beat you by a TD and we beat Buffalo by a number of Frank's choosing. Even though we have the same record and you played a tougher schedule we would still be a slight favorite to beat you right now. Heaven forbid we play them in the Frisco Bowl or something. Would this board go up in flames with old Temple visitors?

It makes we think that if there are P5 teams not covering their bowl slots that there is a pretty good chance we'll play a 6-6 or 7-5 P5 team. We aren't going to win the MAC. We have been to every MAC bowl fairly recently, and we wouldn't be much of a underdog a all against most of those middle of the pack P5 teams.

Would love to give them a Philly Treatment if that were to happen
