I don't know. I kind of like the unusual mascot names. Enjoyed learning about the Fighting Camels last week.

A few of my favorites:

*Sammy the Slug, mascot of Banana Slugs of UC Santa Cruz
*Peter the Pickle, mascot of the Fighting Pickles, University of North Carolina School of the Arts
*Trolls, Trinity Christian College (if you don't believe it, see: http://athletics.trnty.edu )
*Fighting Okra, Delta State University (unofficial, official mascot "Statesmen.")
*Fighting Artichokes, Scottsdale Community College

Have only seen a handful of movies in the last decade. Life is full of different ways to spend time living. Sitting in a dark theatre is rare in my definition of how I live life. Too damn short. Got to pack a lot in before I die. If it means I miss a cultural reference because I have seen Monticello, the view from Pikes Peak or heard the thunder of Niagara Falls I am perfectly willing to suffer and live with that ignorance.

+1

You got my respect in those regards.

But yeah, that's the reference it makes to the Fighting Armadillos. Sadly, they never chose it to be their nickname.....

Thank you

I should probably add that I have ridden the Bobcat Bus in San Marcos, eaten breakfast on the square downtown and driven through the old town appreciating the architecture of the old texan settlers. But I appreciate the respect for living life.

Seen all those sites, hit all 50 states and 11 countries, yet I just got home from the movies.

For me it's 44 states and 30 countries plus movies. This past Sunday I saw Bohemian Rhapsody. Its depiction of Queen's Live Aid performance was stunning! Looking forward to seeing Green Book and The Mule.

45 states here and 7 countries plus a stop in Intercourse, PA. Usually see at least 80% of the movies up for an academy award each year plus more concerts that I can remember including Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon tour in 73.
