What a game! MAC East title on the line. Should be a blast.

Or not!

What a recipe for misery that evening is shaping up to be. Empty Seats Galore will be interested in the event.

The two of you can stay home if you choose not to watch the Bobcats or watch it on TV. Plenty of options for people who don't want to support the players.

I'll be there. My last regular season Bobcat game as I'll be in California for the Akron game, but will be watching it on TV.

Oh, stop it. This isn't about supporting the players.

It's about the game having far less luster than it did on Nov. 6.

Quit making it into "love it or leave it!"

OCF my friend, insert "this year" after Bobcat game. This post makes it wound like you're leaving Bobcat land for good.

You just gave me a great idea for a reality TV show.

Love It or Leave It. Where two football experts come into your program and they each dissect it. One expert tries to get you to keep your current coach and regime by showing you how great they are and potentially can be. The other expert shops for new coaches and presents them to you. Your AD makes the final decision.

I thought "this year" was understood. I do plan to come back from the Land of Fruit, Nuts and Monroe.

Perhaps I'm not thinking clearly after last night, but we will win this game, if only because the football gods will torment us further.

Already happens. It's called the boosters with the purse strings to make things happen drive the train....or the Toledo Blade goes after a coach and makes an AD think he's got the money locked up to fire a coach

You got it wrong, this is where we lose by 30+ points and give up.

Then we win our last game by 6 points and gripe about it.

Go into our bowl game, and steamroll our opponent by 30 and wonder what could have been and be "optimistic" for next season. The End.

I was torn between bailing on my trivia team to watch this game, or not watching the game so that i could go hang out at bar trivia. Sure was nice of the game in Southwest Ohio to make that an easy decision

I was torn between the UB-Ohio game (in person or more likely on TV) or checking out Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul at The Newport in Columbus. Feeling a little less conflicted after the loss at Miami.

I'd love to disagree but I have seen this movie a few times. B2B probably closer to reality. I'd like to say "it's basketball season" and feel good about it. However, I cannot convince myself hoops will end well at all.

So I was feeling pretty cynical when I originally posted that. I've moved on from my cynicism. I think we have a heck of a chance of winning this week. The team is relatively healthy, definitely pissed off, and playing in Athens. You guys can hang your heads all you want. Time to move on. Will we win the division? Highly unlikely. Will we beat Buffalo? I think so.

Pissed off can be good - to a point. I am remembering a game back in the dim, distant ages of my youth when we took the field so pumped up that it took us a full quarter to settle down and start beating a team we were supposed to beat. Which we did.

WOW, I would have thought we would be a 5-7pt underdog.
These people who put out these odds must know something.

You talking about the same oddsmakers that had Ohio -4.5 vs. Miami?

We are now 2-pt favorites ... and I think that number will climb.

ZERO pressure on UB to win ... it's on the road ... it's definitely a spot for Ohio to win.

Sadly, it will mostly likely mean nothing in terms of the pre-season goal.

Just like last year when Ohio dismantled Toledo on the Rockets way to a MACC.
