Yes, we must have misinterpreted this line from you:

"Are you really trying to insinuate that winning the MACC doesn't help you in the ESPN freakin power ratings?"

Sorry for any confusion.

So this begs the question, should we up the compensation package of Coach Solich and his staff to represent what they have meant to OHIO Football? His salary has essentially been stagnate, especially when taking his longevity into account. Maybe now is the time to show a commitment! I'd like to see Coach be the first $1 Million MAC Coach, and his staff not being the highest paid is kind of a farce.
I realize this is sarcasm (BTC knows no other tongue!), but there isn't a chance in a windstorm that this administration will up salaries for any athletics position. For better or worse, they've made clear it's not a strategic priority.
Not sarcasm at all, Coach Solich is underpaid, his staff is underpaid. He’s been here 14 years, he’s taken the Cats to new heights, why should he not be rewarded as such. He’s not even the highest paid OHIO coach.

If he deserved a raise, a power 5 team would have came and plucked him away. Some of his assistants may deserve a raise and some may deserve the boot. Nate Oats got a huge raise at Buffalo after winning the championship and a tournament game. You get paid in most cases for how well you perform and he is the third highest paid coach and we are a top 4-6 program in the MAC, so FS is blessed to be the third highest paid coach.

I can't tell if you're being a smart-ass or being sincere?

Apology accepted? I think?

Either way, thanks to my repetitive nature, you get my point ;-)

I think anybody with a pulse would understand that winning the MACC would have ZERO influence on a power rating.
Lol...hilarious!
