All this and yet they just fired their coach for 9-16 the past two seasons. Brohm left to Purdue after those two CC. Mike Sanford, who should have been a great hire, former coordinator for Boise and Notre Dame, yet 9-16 and gone after two. Story we have all seen before.
That's my point. WKU has had a really nice run since 2010 ... arguably better than Ohio with a couple conference titles.
I think I'd trade that for a couple down years. You wouldn't?
Oh wait ... let me answer that. No. You wouldn't. You thrive with winning 58% of your games and need nothing more to warm your belly.
I think WKU has built a pretty respectable program where they won't be down that long.
Has Ohio? I'd like to think so ... and we'll find out when Frank hangs it up. (Which, if I'd have to guess we'll hear the last of you when that happens)
