What is going on in College Park? Ive never seen a running back do that in one quarter and 3 minutes. 7 carries for 214 yards. They may need an AED on the sideline for Urban before halftime. My goodness!

Meanwhile, 4-5 FCS The Citadel is tied with Alabama 10-10 at halftime.

Loss to Purdue

Struggle against Nebraska

Tie vs Maryland and win when Maryland gambles to go for the win.

Ranked several spots higher than UCF who only had a game against Memphis and steam rolled all other comers and who still says life is fair?

Oh, I forgot, the mighty BigTen where they sweep the MAC's Akron throttling Northwestern under the table..and the Zips would at the time have taken down Nebraska, weather not permitting..that mighty BigTen

The senior circuit has seriously diluted their brand. These days, the top third of the MAC are routinely better than the bottom third of the Big 10+1+3.

Fairness demands soccer-style relegation...Illinois out in the B10 West (0-63 home loss to Iowa, who can top that?) in favor of Northern Illinois and Rutgers out in the B10 East (take your pick, how about 14-55 at Kansas?) for whoever breaks the tie next week.

This would be a great opportunity for us to join the Big10 and expand our stadium. The entire region would embrace this move. I could even see a move like this sealing a naming rights deal on Peden and the Convo.

i expect meyer to retire again after this season. he looked like he might die on the sideline. mental exhaustion or whatever excuse he wants to throw out there. the buckeyes have lost their luster. we complain about OUr defense, but wow. OSU's easier than a five dollar hooker. for those who don't like the bucknuts, saturday might be a really good day.

It may well be. I've gotten great laughs in the last few weeks at the angry soundbites from Bucknuts on social media. I'm hoping for some more.

Good grief...this is why I can't root for that football team. One bad year (and really, it ain't THAT bad), and the natives are restless.

I do not believe that the rumblings have anything to do with the on-field performance.

Yeah, because 79-9 or 80-9 is so horrid...The message board folks are 1 thing, but OSU is not firing a guy for losing two games in a single season. If he leaves, on-field issues will not be the reason.

Where would Meyer go if he did decide to leave? Pac12, ACC or Big12? Kansas just locked up Les Miles....

Wins and losses are not the only criteria in assessing coaching success.

Nothing to do with on-field at all. More of the off-season allegations, perception of getting thrown under the bus by his admin's and Wexner's wife (head of the Board of Trustees and one of the holdouts), and the suspensions as well. Also has had serious cysts in his head that have been operated on numerous times. But what do I know.....

This was the reference to my comment, I just tried to save people from the 1001 text box post. I see that went over several heads.

Then I misunderstood your post. No one is arguing that he doesn't win enough, so I saw your reference to wins and losses as a defense of Meyer staying.

My point was that wins and losses aside, you see a number of mental mistakes and unforced errors by osu this season. And I think that is a result of the circus the program has become.

You give any coach enough talent, he'll win games (Gene Chizik at Auburn). Doesn't mean he's a good coach.
