A few co-workers who follows messageboards at Ohio State were cheering in the office when it was confirmed Fields has chosen Ohio State and that he is moving this weekend to Columbus. This must mean the current QB is going to the draft. And the current back up Tate has been lighting Twitter all week about not caring to know Fields it he transfers.....and saying things like the door doesn't always open twice. It will be an interesting QB battle in the Spring that I think Fields will ultimately win.

I didnt know racism by a fellow Georgia Bulldog baseball player had some effect in his decision too.

With the Giants potentially (fingers crossed) in the market for a Q.B.,Haskins has been a hot topic on sports radio.

From what's was being said, his decision to stay or jump, would be based on whether he feels his draft chances are better this year or next.

With Oregon's Q.B. staying and the Q.B. crop next year, most of the sports people think coming out this year would be better for him.

On another O.T. topic.
According to sports radio out here,Cleveland is considered THE coaching job in the NFL for next season.

And will likely allow him to be immediately eligible.

Serious suggestion for Mods - create a section called:

Athens / OSU / and other

And move this thread accordingly.

Folks can talk about non-Ohio relevant issues and subjects, and not take up real estate that should be dedicated to Rourke....not Fields

That way folks can pop into the section as interested - e.g., I'd pop in to see if there was discussion re: Athens - since it was home for 4 years - but wouldn't bother for OSU or Bulldog sports.

Yeah, because the football board is so active this time of year. Great suggestion!

While I agree with the anti-OSU rhetoric ...

His name is Rourke.

Probably makes your suggestion a little more valid if you got OUr QBs name right.

Done

not about anti OSU just pro, and focused, on Ohio

OK - we have two votes for such a subject thread - Me and the Shot - should be enough to move forward :)

Mods - what do you say?

we should never have a thread where osu is in the title. if we want a catch-all bs thread, just call it off-topic.

Not an O$U fan but the transfer rule makes things interesting. I guess we can move the coaching changes and TOS to another spot too. Dont like the topic....dont click on it.

Another team will be interested in Arizona Cardinals first pick too. Miami Dolphins need a QB after they hire a coach. They haven't had consistent play at the QB spot as well. What about the Redskins too?

What can Cleveland do in the draft to get them over the hump and into playoffs? Running back, another receiver for Landry or DBs?

The Browns need a legitimate left tackle more than anything else. Robinson was an adequate fill-in, but they have to find a pillar there to protect Baker's blindside for the next decade.

Anyone that half paid attention this year knew he was going to be the first QB taken. Depending on trades, he might be the first or second pick in the draft.

The easy solution would be for you to ignore these threads.

It depends, maybe osu doesn’t go after Fields if Burrow sticks around another year. Maybe OSU fans don’t push for start forever and want the coaches to recruit the best player available. Good question

Probably makes your suggestion a little more valid if you got OUr QBs name right.
This is the best part. He does not even know the name of the starting quarterback of the school that he (supposedly) adores!

You can ask Danny Nee and others how green my blood is - I trust the answer. I have been thrown out of establishments in. Muncie, Oxford, and Columbus and detrained in Little John for showing my support of Ohio. You can question my knowledge, but do not doubt my allegiance.

How does one get “detrained”? Is that one of those Mike Pence programs?
