The article on bowl games and what they mean for next year. We are considered a P5 Darling. And Marshall is considered "overlooked." But I agree with a user in the other thread who said this was UCFs opportunity to make a P5 statement. Their loss is our loss because G5 will have to do the impossible like play Alabama and Oklahoma and win in the same season to get the chance to be a New Year's Team. It actually reminded me of Boise State who had to win win win and then they seized their opportunity against Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl win years ago. It's like we have to go through several seasons of validity before we got a shot. What do you guys think?

All G5 teams have to do is win 40 or 50 games in a row before they get ANY kind of respect. UCF was one of the last four unbeatens and only managed to be 8th in the final CFP rankings. In b-ball it took Gonzaga five years with 24 to 28 wins before they got something higher than a six seed. It's going to be even tougher in football because the current system magnifies losses by G5 teams. It's basically one and done.
