Did anyone else notice that the article on Penn State announcing the Bobcat game in 2022 also included their ENTIRE schedule for 2022 and 2023??

So they know now not only their Big 10+4 opponents 5 years out but where the game will be played and on what weekend. And we in the MAC are lucky to learn our opponents 5 to 6 months out and the actual schedule much later. Why is that??

The answer is three-fold: Incompetence, stupidity and arrogance. The arrogance is that they think they don't owe us fans anything at all except to take our money. It's getting really, really old.

Actually the answer is much more simple. They host at least 3 of 4 non conf games and can set the dates/times early. They know they're playing on Saturday. and if a major network isn't televising the game, they know the big 14 network will pick it up and still have it on saturday. it's not rocket science. Their fans show up and spend money so they dictate when they play.

The MAC waits until ESPN dictates what games they want scheduled on mid week nights. The MAC has to wait until April or May some seasons to announce a league schedule because of ESPN.
