Then there was Alex Malzone who transferred to Miami last year. His stats for last year were 0-4 passing, no rushes. Of course, he has another year, and he might have a good season this fall, so it's a little early to make a final determination on the success of his transfer.
Bowers started and performed at a high level before his injury...
Bower played well, but he seemed to have a weakness picking up linebackers underneath in zone coverage, and threw far too many easy picks. In two seasons at Ohio he threw 12 TDs, but 17 interceptions. Everson's ratio was actually worse, at 15 TDs and 24 interceptions, but I don't remember his being thrown directly to defensive players.
