USA Today posted the first Coaches Poll of the new season. Hopefully OHIO can start receiving some votes, if they have a strong start.

Seems about right. Only one non-P5 teams but what else is new?

Wonder if a team with no votes will finish in the Top 10 at season's end?

Listening to some random sports talk show on the car radio a few days ago, I heard it opined that WVU had a shot at wining the B12-10 this year. All the experts on this show seemed to agree that their coaching change was going to be a big plus. Anyway, it's interesting speculation . . .

A different poll, or list, if you will. Read somewhere this morning that 'Cats over the last 5 years are tied with Northwestern as the 8th most successful team in covering the pointspread. 37-27 against the number, if I recall.
