Allison is averaging 5.3 per carry tonight. He's not bad at all.

I am not getting the buffering issues some mentioned and the announcing crew isn't half bad for a Facebook broadcast. However, their apologies for not being able to show the scoreboard puts me in the mind of some of the technical glitches experienced in the fictitious cable access channel that broadcast Wayne's World. I am half expecting a Wayne's World promo, but alas it's Huntington and not Aurora.

The pop up comments on the Facebook feed are a hoot. Some astute comments, but the sheer buffoonery of some of the Herd fans comments is something to behold. One guy wondered if the Bobcats would finally make it to a bowl game. Speaking of Wayne's World what would Garth say about one of the announcing crew thinking Freddie Mercury sang Two Tickets to Paradise?

It took a few games for the O-line last year to get back to being great after the change in coaches. Let's hope this is just short-term growing pains.

Credit Marshall. Has anyone looked at the Louisiana score?

No slighting Marshall at all. Frank himself was very critical of defensive play in his interview at half. Sideline reporter asked him a question about offense, he went straight to defensive play and lack of tackling.

No kidding. Knox being out really hurt Marshall in the 2nd half.

Our defense was so bad in the first half and spotty when it mattered in the 4th quarter.

Zervos missing that FG in the 2nd was also killer.

We also never force turnovers. Our defense seems unable to make a BIG play this year.

Feels like 6-6 or 7-5.

Tackling was just disgusting tonight. Louisiana is going to kick our ___ next week if this defensive effort shows again.

Yeah, they put up 77 pts on a winless 1AA Tx Southern that's coming off a 2-9 season. Doesn't mean much.

Our D looked pretty inept at times tonight, but they can work on that. What's really disconcerting for me is no takeaways again tonight and only one total for the season. This from a team that led the nation in takeaways last year. This team just doesn't seem to have a nose for the ball like last year's team and isn't in there trying to strip the ball.

I attribute that to what I think is our one true weakness: lack of pass rush from the defensive line without blitz help. We're not forcing the quarterback into bad decisions or offline throws and no strip sacks.

And if we do blitz, our CB will just fall down anyway.
