Maybe it's time to try a bit of a hurry-up offense to get us out of the funk we were in at Pitt.

As i recall, Ohio ran only 56 plays from scrimmage.

Bobcats are in for a tough one, IMHO.

The Herd held Boise to 14 points, at home, after they dropped 30+ on Florida State.

Having a healthy Rourke will be a good place to start!

This should be a GREAT game. Makes sense it is one that is not on TV...

Isn't the game being broadcast on Facebook TV, whatever the hell that is?

Marshall gave Boise State a good game last week, they were playing pretty good defense, but they also looked stuck on offense and actually went the entire second half without a single first down. The lost their stud LB Jaquan Yulee, who originally committed to Alabama, with a back injury in the opener. I expect a pretty good game but see Ohio coming away with a win.

I posted after the Pitt game that I thought Rourke was not himself, no scrambling and running plays were called for him.
I do not believe that will be the case this week and we will see the real Rourke.

I am confident that we will rebound.PERIOD

And when you can't move the ball, going to a hurry up is just hurrying your defense back onto the field and giving the opponent more opportunities.

It's some streaming service that apparently CUSA has bought into. There are several CUSA games this week that are on Facebook TV. The Facebook TV homepage has information about apps that can be downloaded.

I *think* you can also watch it via Stadium on The Roku Channel if you have a Roku.

I have a Roku on one TV and Firestick on another. Couldn't find Stadium on the Firestick, but I can get the Facebook app. No idea if that will work. I have yet to look on the Roku.

On the Roku, you have to use The Roku Channel to find Stadium. Stadium does not have its own separate channel on the Roku. https://www.cordcuttersnews.com/the-free-sports-service-s... /

Here's a little viewing for Marshall week:
The 2011 game:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AM39lYg5yes

The 2012 game:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6IDkJGppDE

2013:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5QRFu5AblIk

And, after an ugly loss in 2014, when Marshall ripped up the new Ohio Cover 4 defense, the cats won the bell back in 2015:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5Xgey9A_zc

That last game was the one where Marshall picked up a late hit penalty for a hit out of bounds that effectively ended Sprague's career. He did play some after that, but was never the same, and had to give the game up before his Senior season.

Ohio needs to bring the bell back again this year.

Wasn’t a late hit out of bounds or a dirty hit a nagging injury creator for Tet? Also vs Marshall I believe.

Completely agree. Rourke was quoted after the Pitt game as minimizing the impact of the illness, which was admirable. However, to everyone watching, this was not a Rourke game or an Ohio game.

Im with the group of Ohio fans who is unable to find moral victories anymore in losses of winnable games but Rourke was clearly not himself and/or the game wasnt called like he was.

Throughout the week Coach Albin talking about concepts to beat Pitt's blitz, like moving the pocket. Rourke barely moved out of the pocket and looked gassed in the fourth quarter after a four yard run.

Rourke will return in full-force vs Marshall and that is a great thing because Marshall is a top 40 FBS team in my opinion.

It was a hard hit, but legal, in the center of the field, and yes, it was against Marshall in 2012. Vick played the entire game the following week against Norfolk State. That's not a good pattern, though, taking out Tet in 2012, and Sprague in 2015.

Herdzone.com has a link in their football section: How-to-watch-Marshall vs. Ohio. Everything on that site says 6:30pm on Saturday.

Found this link for all Conference USA games and it shows 6:30 pm on Saturday and "Stadium on Facebook". In Cincinnati, "Stadium" is actually a digital over the air channel 12.3 but I guess this game will be streamed by "Stadium" on facebook.

http://conferenceusa.com/news/2019/5/30/football-fb-2019-...

I didn't see a working link on OhioBobcats.com Maybe someone who has some connections can suggest that.
