It’s sure going to be way different with thousands of opponent fans instead of a few hundreds at best that we’re more used to. And they’re bringing their band!
A good question is where will the OU band sit when the student section has been reduced down so much.
If we're not going to use the concrete steps behind the end zone, the band should.

Seems a waste of premium real estate to have those covered with a "fancy" corporate OU tarp. Soft back chairs with food service sounds like a plan for that area.

Completely agree the band should be on the end zone concrete steps. Isn't that what they were built for? It looks and sounds sharp anyway, imo

I see that we just announced that the Recruiting Tickets are all gone. They’ve (recruits) been announcing that they’re visiting for a while. Hope the game , atmosphere, etc hooks some of the uncommitted guys.

Back in my day, the band sat over there.

I like the idea of field level premium seats.

I think moving the students there so they can be loud on that side of the field for a sort of homefield advantage, would be good. And good to look across the field and see students looking right back, rather than a giant tarp.

Or just open it up to general admission. Anything but a tarp.

Ohiobobcats.com’s new seating chart has this as the “Prokos Rentals student section.” I guess that might mean it is crumbling, has a few rodents, nothing ever gets fixed, and you lose your deposit no matter what happens.

Haha. jk. I’ll be here all night.

I do hope that means there could be Souvlaki’s.

Maybe it should be the White Elephant section in honor of his eye-sore hotel.

Update from the know before you go email. "Victory Hill is reserved ONLY for students, please sit in your ticketed seats".

A big key today is whether our D can get off the field. We held Rutgers to just one of ten on third down but they were four-for-four on fourth down. Two of them were fourth and sevens. WVU was 5 for 11 on third down but only one for two on fourth vs Bobby Mo last week. I expect WVU will go on fourth and medium or short until we stop them.

Looks like the rain is slowly moving our of the Athens area and should be gone by game time.

I expect a great game and agree our defense is the key. If we can disrupt their tempo and force a turnover, I like our chances. Hope we can have a better day on special teams. 13 will keep the offense humming.

DEFEND THE FRANK!

Our D has to come together and do just enough to slow WVU's tempo down. Our Special Teams have to be more competent too.

So far Special Teams look more competent than last week. Defense... still has tackling issues.

We've switched kickers? Didn't see that one coming. I'm glad he made it.

If we can’t hit a 30 yard field goal we’re not gonna win a lot of games.

Open tryouts for Punter, Kicker and Returner. And Center. Atrocious.

If this kid fields one more punt they’re gonna need security to pull me from the sidelines.

Chase.

This is not a close game.

Have to keep putting it on. Should be 24-7, at least 20-7.

OU is more than doubling up them offensively. 288 yards in the first half.
