So far no blowouts against the big 10. Wonder how much NIL has watered down the bad P4 schools and helps elevate better G5 schools? Good G5's are getting talent from transfers coming down for playing time while crappy P4's are losing their best guys for more $$$ and not able to replace them at the same talent level.
Seems to me the only winners in this new world are the Bama's, OSU, Mich, etc.
While the score may not show a blowout the stats certainly do. Look at the two other big ten games last night...Some pretty embarassing numbers. It'll be interesting to see how Miami does against Rutgers next weekend. A good barometer of sorts for Ohio.
Buffalo vs Minnesota
Total Yards - 151 (Buff); 433 (Minn)
Pass Yards - 107 (Buff); 290 (Minn)
Rush Yards - 44 (Buff); 153 (Minn)
First Downs - 8 (Buff); 27 (Minn)
Miami vs Wisconsin
Total Yards - 117 (Miami); 353 (Wisc)
Pass Yards - 83 (Miami); 188 (Wisc)
Rush Yards - 34 (Miami); 165 (Wisc)
First Downs - 7 (Miami); 23 (Wisc)
A good sign for Ohio. I feel like Rutgers is in the same ballpark as Minnesota & Wisconsin, maybe a bit lower but still. Makes me feel a bit better about the end result...minus the defensive struggles.
