Ah Dion.

But in 1993, storming the field and taking down the goalpost after beating Akron for our 2nd consecutive MAC win when there were maybe 50 students left at the end of the game. That will always be my favorite Peden stadium memory.

I also vaguely remember that was when the 110 was sitting in the student section behind the visitors bench. Akron had a player with the last name "Balls". The 110 in it's 2nd finest hour (nothing tops the the Fiami homecoming game).

Now let's shock the world and beat WVU. I think it's possible

WVU sold out through Ohiobobcats.com. FWIW, Seatgeek is listing a ticket in Phillips Club for $1,015 on the 50 yard line.
Yep, completely sold out. Stopped by the ticket office this afternoon after our meeting with the president and her cabinet. Sad thing is that I called yesterday to find out the process, left a message and never got a call back. Oh well, as the ticket guy behind the window told me, the best place to look is SeatGeek.

Cant remember Ohio U ever storming the field for football (not that there have been any notable games to do so in Peden) but I wonder if this is one of those games? If they find a way to somehow win of course.
The rare time when we can in fact state that someone was born yesterday.
1) My question wasnt answered.
2) It was brought to my attention that OU stormed the field in 2005 when they beat an unranked Pitt team.
3) Looks as though I’m correct in saying there has never really been a game of much anticipation ever if beating an unranked Pitt team was a field storming event lol.

There was just as much hype in the summer of 05 for Pitt as there is now for WVU. Pitt was ranked in the preseason and was the defending Big East champion. WVU is not that.

We were also the dog of the entire sport up to that point. But, home opener, splashy new coaching hire, walk-off win in OT, night game, only game on that night. It was a perfect storm of circumstances to storm.

Pretty sure we stormed the field against Temple back in like 2011 or 2012 as well. Not exactly the strongest opponent but I remember crazy hype around that game. It was a blackout and they debuted the new all black uniforms and students showed up big time.

Now that I think about it it may have been a Marshall game around that same time. Either way I do remember jumping the railing and running around down there.

The black jerseys were revealed before an ass whooping on Marshall, though we did wear black against Temple one of those years as well.

Now I'm wondering if there was a field storming for the 2009 win over Temple to clinch the MAC East. Still one of my favorite games of all time.

It was on national television as Frank's first home game. Place was packed. Definitely highly anticipated and meaningful.

Pitt finished the previous season ranked 25th after an 8 and 4 season. They had a big name new coach and OU was a whopping 11 - 35 the previous 4 seasons. Yes, there was anticipation in the air, a night game and standing room only. Might want to do your homework and rely less on AI.

Just “Ohio” now. Not “Ohio U”. Beating an unranked WVU team that ended 6-7 last year might not justify storming the field according to your standards, but it sure would be still fun doing in front of the visiting WVU fans.

I will say this about the game, and this is coming from my guys on both university and athletics side.

OU is worried about Wifi and connectivity that day in and around the campus for that gameday. What I am telling you is have all of your tickets and parking passes downloaded before you get to campus that day. If you do not, you may be in an uphill battle with 24,000 other people. They are not going to do anything extra other than what they got.

Once the gameweek post comes out for WVU, I will post it again as a warning to anyone and everyone going. Just relaying what I have heard from internal meetings already

We stormed the field after beating Buffalo in 2002 on a last-second field goal. It was our first home win since beating Marshall in 2000. I was a student then, so I was out there.

Did we storm the field when we beat Iowa State at home two years ago. Doesn’t seem that we did?

Ticket prices now going down a little, available for as little as $120(still wow). It will be interesting to see where they land at game time since I put my two up.

No.

They won 4 games the year before so they didn't have much hype.

They've really gone on a run here recently though.

I noticed the prices on Seat Geek trend higher too. I tried to put a listing on Seat Geek and they want a 10% cut from the sale price. Then whatever my listing price is another 18.7% is tacked on to the buyer in the way of fees. Its possible the 10% cut is going to the athletic department while a component of the fees are going to Seat Geek. Placed an example list also on Stubhub.

Seat Geek
Seller List Price $300
Seller Payout $270
Buyer Purchase Price $356

Stubhub
Seller List Price $300
Seller Payout $270
Buyer Purchase Price $346

When the tickets are under $100 dollars this isn't going to matter too much in the listing but it sure does at elevated list prices. Be aware if you are trying to make it reasonable for the buyer.

Some of the best prices I've found checking through the sites on are TickPick. They have the WVU game from $110 and and OSU from $85. Prices include fees and appear to be mobile delivery.

If I wanted to sell a few of mine directly to someone, how do you suggest completing the transaction so the buyer is comfortable paying before getting the electronic ticket?

No great answer there, someone has to blink first. Could send 1, they send payment, then you send the other?

The sites sometimes offer deadlines by which to provide the tickets. Also mobile transfer options are easier delivery than e-ticket.

Do you already have the ticket?

If so, as a buyer, I always assume I'm paying first.

If you dont have it - the honor system is gonna be a tough sell, which is why StubHub and the like are so big because they're basically holding your money and ticket in escrow until the game.

Thanks--Have the tickets so will expect payment first as you suggest.
