After Nebraska was blown off their own field Saturday night, Dispatch columnist Rob Oller wrote this in the Sunday paper...
Somewhere, Frank Solich is shaking his head: "I was the problem? Really?"

Was talking with a friend over the weekend about the state of certain college football teams compared to when we were in high school in the mid to late 90s. Were prompted by the picture of the K-State player tackling a "headless" Eric Crouch.
It is interesting how down teams like Florida State, Tennessee, Nebraska are. Michigan has had a fairly low ceiling since Carr left, too.
Will forever be grateful to have (have had) Frank here in Athens. His biggest fault at Nebraska IMHO was simply not being Tom Osborne.

Frank Solich was their coach the last time Nebraska was in the Top 10.

In the 16 seasons since he was fired, not one season has the Nebraska team bettered, or equaled, the record that Frank had in his last season there (10-3)...
