Or perhaps they should start one. I've never been impressed, but this has to rank as one of the worst pre-game interview comments ever. Way to motivate your players, Chuck!

Thanks for being you, Frank.

It's true, though. Every single Ohio State player was more highly recruited than every single Miami player. If I was a player, I'd like to think that I'd already understand that and use that as motivation to show Ohio State and other like programs they were wrong and made the wrong picks.

The administration last year was not pleased with his Shawshank Redemption comments. He needs to win.

Of course it's true, but that's not my point at all. My point is that it's a really dumb comment for him to make in the media, especially when you're trying to prep your team for their toughest game of the year.

Martin's candid assessment is likely why most coaches stick with "coachspeak."

Leaders inspire. Martin has repeatedly denigrated his program, players and league. Time for him to become Nick Saban's next video coordinator.

Compare his comments to Frank's when the Bobcats did a walk-through at the Horseshoe the night before we last played the Buckeyes. Frank was asked, "Will your players be intimidated?" He responded, "I would be very surprised if any of our players is intimidated. We understand that we belong here."

Exactly, and I believe it was when Ohio was prepping for Minnesota, Jake Pruehs said, and I have to paraphase, "...those guys got recruited higher because they had better high school careers. That's in the past. We train the same, prep the same, put on our uniforms the same..." When asked if the Bobcats were intimidated.

You guys with better memories, feel free to correct where necessary.

Martin's attitude toward his school, the MAC, his fans and his players sucks. I think his act is wearing thin if the Fiami board is any indication.
