Herdzone.com has a link in their football section: How-to-watch-Marshall vs. Ohio. Everything on that site says 6:30pm on Saturday.

Found this link for all Conference USA games and it shows 6:30 pm on Saturday and "Stadium on Facebook". In Cincinnati, "Stadium" is actually a digital over the air channel 12.3 but I guess this game will be streamed by "Stadium" on facebook.

http://conferenceusa.com/news/2019/5/30/football-fb-2019-...

I didn't see a working link on OhioBobcats.com Maybe someone who has some connections can suggest that.
There's a "video" link on the football schedule page that opens Facebook. I'm not sure if that link will go to Facebook TV or if we have to google Facebook TV and try to log in from there.

The link to the game is in the first post of this thread.

Regarding the video link on Ohiobobcats.com, I saw that but the 3:30 time it shows concerns me since the game appears to be at 6:30. Will there be 3 hours of pregame talking about the history of the Ohio and Marshall rivalry? Possible but doubtful. That's why I posted the Herdzone.com link.

Something else that's conspicuous on the C-USA broadcast schedule is the lack of weekday games except it appears many C-USA teams opened on the first Thursday of the season with only Friday night/Saturday games being broadcast. I don't care for "MAC-action" with weekday Tues-Wed-Thurs games because of the short week of 5 or 6 days the players have to recover and prepare. This is especially concerning in situations where the opponent might have a day or two more.

The flip side is the good chance a great Ohio play will make it on to ESPN's Sportscenter as a top 10 play which will get Ohio's name out there to people who might think there's only one college football team in Ohio. (We all know who I'm talking about.) However, is it worth player health?

If you still have a outdoor antenna channel 11.2 is Stadium. I live in Gallipolis and receive it with a strong signal. It have watched several H.S games and a few Marshall games on it.

Is it me, or has interest in the Marshall’s football program dropped off a cliff? Fair weather reaction from their fans? I haven’t followed them since 2015 game, so honest question. But their herd nation forum is crazy quiet and talking more about playing BG in 2022 than tomorrow’s game. A few of their fans used to raid our forum, but don’t see the trash talk now. There’s plenty of tickets left for their game tomorrow. Did joining Conference USA kill their momentum?

I see the fans they have left still think themselves as better than the MAC, but I think they’re still living in the 90’s while a large contingent of their fan base has moved on.

I have a different theory on it. The decade before was the decade of the message board and blogs in cyberspace over social media. Facebook was around 15 years ago but it was college students at that point. Its only the last 10 years where the average 50-60 year old has felt compelled to be on social media. The delay in social trends is greater in backwaters like Huntington, WV. They've moved on and those still on the boards are more realistic about Herd football.

A couple things jump out at me concerning the game against the Herd. Why doesn't Conference USA have more visibility for Marshall, a school that almost beat Boise and a school pretty well know across the football world, from players like Randy Moss to the We are Marshall star studded movie describing the tragic events of 1970? In addition, I know many Marshall fans don't like being in the CUSA due to lack of rivalries and far flung travel. I mean we may think DeKalb or Buffalo is a hike for a road game, can you imagine trying to get to UTEP or North Texas State? Why doesn't the CUSA help their better known programs like Marshall with a more extensive TV package? I still can't believe there isn't a way for me to watch the game via more traditional means.

To make your point, T'erd's closest in-conference rival is WKU, which is 282 miles from Huntington. Ohio has seven in-conference rivals that are closer than 282 miles from Athens. Only CMU, WMU, Buffalo and NIU are farther away than that.

So I liked Stadium College Football on Facebook, then downloaded Facebook Watch to my Firestick and was able to find Stadium through that. Looks like that's the way to watch if you want it on your normal TV. Haven't found out what to do with my other TV that has a Roku.

But seriously, Conference-USA, this is some 2009 ish.

Its 1999ish before a national TV package became standard for the G5 leagues. If we are going to be on ESPN+ let's at least have control of our start times back to us.

Between ACC Network last week and this game streaming on Facebook today, we've had some adventures just to watch the Cats.

Looking forward to getting back on ESPN3/ESPN+.

As for this game today... I have a pretty nervous feeling. I'm worried about our running game, especially with Julian Ross out. Marshall is great against the run. We NEED to have Rourke at full speed to give our offense that X Factor.

This could be a grinder. I feel like our defense needs two takeaways to win.

SCORE PREDICTION:

OHIO 23
T'erd 21

Why does Frank hate Tuggle? How is he not the starter and feature back? So clear that he is waaaay better than Allison. This is like when Frank stuck with Daz too long.

This doesn't have anything to do with what back is playing. Defense need to make some stops.

Horrible tackling and busted coverages, what’s new! Tuggle should have one hundred yards, but Allison earned start forever status in the first half of the first game. Where is Cam Odom?
