Looking to purchase 4 tickets to the Kent State game. Do any of the seats have backs? What section would that be? I'm willing to pay a little more for comfy seats!

Sections 104 and 105 are chairback seats running from the 40 yd line to the 40 yd line but they tend to be a bit "snug". I'm not sure you'll be able to find many available seats there.
If you are simply wanting some back support your best bet might be to purchase seats in the Phillips Club section. They are bleacher seats but do have a back on them and there is more than adequate room for seating. You can bring in a seat pad if you want as well. They are 4 rows directly behind the visiting team from goal line to goal line. I've had season tickets there for years and noticed several empty seats in that section last week.

I found four seats that are resales in section 105 row 2. I just want to make sure they have backs. I will be in town for the open house with my daughter a high school senior and her friend also a senior and my son a sophomore. I’m hoping at least one of these kids becomes a bobcat. Fingers crossed. But just to verify those seats will have backs??

No backs and you don't want to sit there anyway. You'll constantly have people walking and standing in front of you. The only seats with backs are the Phillips section and the rows on the 50 in sections 104 and 105. Both of those are season ticket sections with a donation requirement and depending on your size, they can be a pain in the ass. Very tight seating arrangement.

Maybe once they announce the game time people will be selling their tickets if they can’t make it.

Don’t put too much stock into it, yes, BG is that awful.

Those seats do not have chairbacks. Through the first 2 games there have been an abundance of empty seats in the Phillips area (1st 4 rows...bleacher seats with backs). My advice would be to secure something there.
