I understand the MAC needs to fill the November TV games but it really sucks that we get stuck with the game against Fiami on Wednesday when BG vs Toledo and Kent vs Akron get normal Saturday games (it's also Akron's homecoming). On the bright side, we're the only game on the 150th anniversary of the first college football game.

This year I'm noticing the MAC has a Saturday ESPNU game every week during September/October. A few years ago there was never a conference national TV game on a Saturday. Then CBS Sports started running a few of them and now I guess ESPNU is doing this for the MAC as well. ESPN+ is as close as it gets to national broadcast quality over a streaming platform. Compared to Facebook or Flo Sports where UMass and Marshall play definitely.

BG and Akron need Toledo and Kent to fill seats for homecoming. Miami in Peden stadium while a top MAC draw for Ohio fans to see doesn't travel significantly.

Once again, in the MAC, any team can beat anyone else. BG takes down Toledo, 20-7. And yes, Miami sucks.
