Two upsets yesterday have some interesting relations to MAC schools' scores against the upsetting team earlier in the season:

Illinois 24, Wisconsin 23
Eastern Michigan 34, Illinois 31

BYU 28, Boise State 25
Toledo 28, BYU 21

That last one makes even more puzzling UT's recent swoon, but as I understand it yesterday they played most of the game with their second string QB.

Toledo played this weeks game and much of the BG game without their starting QB. That explains a lot about their offense.

To go with these two:
Illinois 24, Wisconsin 23
Eastern Michigan 34, Illinois 31

You need to add:
Wisconsin 61, CMU 0
CMU 42, EMU 16

So, is EMU 4 points better than Wisconsin? Or are they 87 points worse? Or somewhere in between? It's college football, and anything can happen, and often does, especially in the MAC. The MAC this year is so even that there will be a lot more unexpected results before the year is over.
