require some discipline with our defensive backs, namely #7. His trash talking and prancing around has got to stop. Makes me sick! Looks worse than the nfl and I seriously doubt he has a chance to get there. Can’t say for sure because I don’t know the schemes etc, but my guess he had some responsibility in the Miami rb going approx. 50 yards untouched. Play the damn game every down and quit showboating. I don’t normally call out players and coaches, but this sh** needs to stop imo, especially when you screw up 2 games at home as a team. Rant over!

Yes, he swooped in and whiffed on a tackle during that 50 yarder. Likes to try to knock down opponents, doesn't use arms to wrap them up. Maybe they teach them that, not sure.

The irony is he is our lone NFL prospect for the 2020 draft. I don't mind a little celebration and swagger but he definitely lays it on a bit thick in the most run of the mill situations.

I guess you missed that he is one of the leading tacklers on the Team.

HAGAN HAS BEEN A SOLID FOOTBALL PLAYER AND EVEN BETTER YOUNG MAN HIS ENTIRE TIME HERE AT OHIO BUT GOD FORBID THE YOUNG MAN ACTUALLY HAS FUN DOING WHAT HE DOES FOR OHIO FOOTBALL.
HAS HE HAD A BUNCH OF UNSPORTSMAN LIKES? NOPE SO GET OVER IT HE IS ENJOYING HIMSELF AND WITHOUT HIM THE LAST 4 YEARS GOOD GRIEF THE DEFENSE WOULD BE IN THE TRASH CAN CONSISTENTLY.

He saved our ass against Kent so I think we should let him slide.

The unfortunate thing is this is not the kind of coach that’s going to give up after a losing season.

And what coach would depend on this defense to win the game. Should have gone for the TD on fourth and five.

I completely agree with your first thought. Completely disagree with the second.

Completely disagree with the first sentence. You want a coach that gives up after a losing season?

I get it, you want the guy to go away (I don't agree). But to wish you had a coach who would "give up after a losing season" is a little cockeyed.

There is some serious overreacting going on here. Coming from me, that should worry you a lot.

This season is an anomaly. Our expectations and national predictions were clearly not aligned with the amount of lost production from last year. That hurts because we all wanted to see air Canada go out on a high note. Our first new DC in 15 years, our 3rd offensive line coach in as many years, these things took their toll. It's our first non winning season since 2013. This doesn't make a trend. We just had a bad year.

The bigger picture continues to be the lack of development of the younger classes. This is the area that has been totally overlooked, and will turn what several have referred to as an anomaly of a season into a regular and recurring situation.

RF, what you're completely missing is that there has been very little (if any development) for the RS Freshman and Freshman classes (holding strong at 1 Freshman getting one play season to date) not being groomed and/or developed at all with on field action. This is one area Coach committed to doing early in the season - what happened? This includes at the most important position we will have a gap at next year - QB. I think the question with such 'highly touted' classes the last 2 years, why the conscious decision was made to essentially play none of them in game situations. If that is not understood/addressed, the same thing will continue to happen in future years. That is the bigger picture.

Would love to hear your opinion on this topic.

I think it's completely situational. We've been in tons of close games. I think young guys will see game action the next two weeks, including at qb.
