I just want to see Rourke come out running from the start. Similar to what we saw at Ball State. His running is the difference maker.

I'll add my amen also, Ted. But I'll also add that the DBs have play a helluva game tonight. Our pass defense is 9th in MAC during conference play, and has given up 8 passing TDs with only one INT. That's the worst ratio in the MAC. Fiami's passing game is only so-so, but our D can't afford to make them look good. I think we can shut down their running game but also need to tighten up the passing defense.
We've won both games where we scored first this season, so getting off to a fast start would be great.

I want to see the O-line come out and dominate the line of scrimmage. If they do that, the running backs will have room to run, and Rourke will have time to pass or run. Equally importantly I want to see the Ohio d-line shut down Miami's running game, and make them one dimensional.

Field goals in November. Again, I thought we were past that.

Great call Frank. Kick it 50 yards!
Nice crowd to see no confidence in the offense to pick up 4 yards at that spot on the field.

Can’t believe the play calling on some of these critical plays,
So it will be a dogfight if we’re lucky. Will probably a 1 score game that either can win

Really? This is classic Ohio .... should be comfortably ahead, yet they continue to shoot themselves in the face

Not Rourke’s best half so far.
But......😊

What was Julian Ross doing there? Miami has to be thrilled. They should be down at least 14.

Total lack of awareness by Ross with the first down in front of him and two timeouts.

Another year, another brutal November game. Hope it turns around in the second half, but history doesn’t provide much reason for optimism.

Offense is not playing smart, Miami’s getting pressure on Rourke, and Rourke’s playing tentatively, with seemingly little confidence. What adjustments will Ohio make at the half?
On the plus side, the crowd sure showed up for the game! Great to see on TV.

That play by Ross was totally unexplainable. They had timeouts, a first down stops the clock and it brings up fourth down. Terrible.

Two time outs and a punt that is downed at the two but a ref said it was touched by a guy in the endzone. Challenge the call because it looked like the guy who batted the ball back was not in the endzone.
Waste a timeout on a challenge--you cannot carry over the timeouts so why not challenge (unless it cannot be challenged) . If you win the opponent has to take three snaps with little room. Anything can happen at that spot.

I hate to say it but Miami's defense has made nice adjustments. The Cats offense looks out of sorts. Not good.
