I don't either. I was being sarcastic. Could never understand -- with very rare exception -- why a coach would call for an area kick or a squib kick. The rare exceptions would be at the end of a game when you are behind and hoping to increase the chances of a muffed punt. It's a desperation move, kind of like an onsides kick.
