Wow-that's too bad. I was looking forward to seeing him get a bigger roll with the Bobcats. With the loss of Javon Hagan, Mitchell was probably, at worst, the third safety. Alvin Floyd will probably get the call to replace Hagan, especially with Mitchell gone?

Wow, I figured he would be a starter this year. A little concerned about our S depth now.

I believe he’s a Florida guy originally so my first thought was “well, that’s close to home for him” but as mentioned by Jeff it looks like West Florida has grabbed some really good D-1 transfers. Particularly on defense.
