I see other schools have announced when their teams are returning.
Does anyone know about our boys yet?

Heard June 22 which is interesting considering the univesity isn't reopening until July at the earliest.

So here is what I don't get. If sports are returning a week from Monday, why isn't the golf course opening at that time? Heck, the tosu coureses never closed. When you're hurting for money, why turn off the water?

Are you doubting the crack management team at Ohio?

i would think that the $269,492 that we are paying to manage the golf course would have come to that conclusion weeks if not months ago.

Now that the boys have been on campus about 2 weeks has anyone heard anything about what's going on?

I saw about five or six guys -- obviously football players -- walking from the New South dorm area toward Peden earlier this week as I driving through that area. So, it appears that practices are taking place, but I don't know anything more.

Only workouts, not allowed to throw footballs, catch football, no 7 on 7 yet. Maybe next week for the advanced stuff

If things do get going and no major setbacks I wonder if consideration will be given to allowing the public to observe practices at Peden (with social distancing and perhaps masks too)? I could understand keeping restrooms, the tower, etc. off limits but it would be interesting to see how things are progressing; particularly the QB competition.

I'm afraid today's news will squelch any chance of that.

All conditioning and training has been halted.

The school in Columbus has paused activity. The Ivy League canceled fall sports. Stanford is eliminating several sports programs. The beat goes on.
