A month and a half has passed. Let's see how opinions have changed. I added an additional answer with masks.

Need to add

"Yes, but the season will not be completed - it will be suspended at some point."

Or possibly there will be a season in the spring. Or maybe some combination of the options above. I have no idea what to expect, but clearly things will not progress as usual. Things will be different, probably in some combination of ways, if there's football at all. I'm far less optimistic than I was a month or two ago.

We've been told as season ticket holder already to expect social distancing. Some of us will be asked to move sections to support this.

Already one home game is off the books so the answer is really a combination of limited/social distancing and some games with a probability of about 65%. The only reason I give it 65% is having a season is what FBS departments want/expect to do if at all possible but there is a good chance it might not be.

Do you mean OHIO football, or college football of any sort? I think some college football will exist, but I'm less confident that every team will have a season.

Baseball couldn't even make it a week - who actually thinks NCAA football will make it a season? Really? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

This EXACTLY. 6 MLB teams are in limbo...

And I think everyone is forgetting that the NCAA said there will not be sports if students are not on Campus. I'm not sold students will be on campus in the fall. High Schools have a slow drip of going to all online for the "first quarter"...which is just the optimistic precursor to the entire first semester. Some colleges have already decided that.

It's inevitable IMHO.

Yet many of those high schools that are going remote are also still having sports. I guess the virus only infects people before 3 in the afternoon. Hypocrisy at its finest.

Redbox Bowl in SF between Pac 12 and B10 has been cancelled. First post-season victim.

Pac 12 will play a 10-game conference-only schedule. That leaves the B12 as the last of the "P"s to announce scheduling plans. They're apparently trying to have a full 12-game schedule but with the way things are in Texas (where four of its members are located) that's a long shot.

Spring will be the last option for Power Five. Few if any players that have a chance to be drafted in top 3 plus rounds will choose to play. That won't affect CUSA, MWC, Sun Belt and the MAC, but guessing a bunch of SEC and Big Ten players will opt out in the spring.

There's an interesting article in today's The Record by Dan Wolken of USA today about the players' perspective on the 2020 college football season.

The Record won't let you link articles.
But if google "Dan Wolken USA Toady" the article comes up on Muckrack.com

I'm really not sure what baseball was thinking with their approach. The amount of travel, new hotels, no catered meals. This seems inevitable.

Obviously it's really early with the NBA and NHL, but it seems like the bubble approach has a higher opportunity for success. It just allows for much more control over variables.

Preceding in this country the NBA and NHL bubbles is the MLS is Back Tournament, taking place in an Orlando bubble. Most would say this has been a success with just the semifinals and finals remaining.

They did have two teams withdraw, however.

Correct. But didn't that happen before those two teams entered the bubble?

Yeah, that's true. I guess that would actually be further evidence in support of the bubble approach.
