When thinking of the CMU game and Ohio's cadre of running backs - and perhaps a running QB - I am reminded of a game during the Grobe years. It was a sunny Saturday in Athens. Ohio's running game was playing at an A+ level. If my memory is correct, final was Bobcats 52 CMU 3.

QB situation at CMU aside, I just think Ohio will be better prepared for this game. I think Ohio has has the better coaching staff and I think Ohio's players will be more prepared. Ohio has won NINE consecutive MAC openers! That speaks volumes. I see that becoming 10.

Looking at the box score and seeing Keegan Logan's name gave me a flashback to that same season when he broke through the middle of the Minnesota Gophers' line for a long TD at the Metrodome. I don't remember how long the run was but I do remember that Keegan was a big guy. Nice win up there that day.

It was Keland Logan and it was about 60 yards on 4th and 1, he ran out our gas and got tackled inside the 5. Blinker threw a TD, caught a TD and had a rushing TD in that game.

OK. No TD, but tackled at 6 yard line, not inside the 5. Whew! Glad we cleared all of this up. :)

I am just happy you got his name right. Keland is a good dude, has had some rough times since then, but hopeful hes on track for good.

Who is Brinker?
He's that guy who ran really hard left and right. You had to turn him on and off though ;-)
