As a former player, I always felt like one year the Defense is amazing and the Offense didn't do more for the Defense. Then a year where Offense is magnificent but the Defense graduated too many stars the year before and isn't able to get anyone off field.
I just want one year of solid three phases of the game. If the Defense isn't a turnover machine atleast be "The 3 and Out" crew. And for offense, if we aren't explosive at Rourke 1.0 and 38 points a game over the past 3 years, strive to be the balanced, grind it out game-clock hoggers that doesn't turn the ball over. We can have middle of the pack stats in the MAC and still be great, but only if we can control the game clock and pace of the game; it would be hard to stop us.
P.S. - I did an accelerated version of NCAA 2014 on my old Playstation 3 to the 2020 season. Simulated the head to head games. We lost to CMU 24-14 and lost to Buffalo 31 - 13 going 4-2. Our game with Buffalo had a lot on the line as they lost their crossover game. It's saying Buffalo is the the best in the EAST in 2020 with a strong running game. Funny they have an All American in Patterson this year. But anyways, Buffalo played Toledo in the MAC championship and Buffalo won.
