Bill O'Brien canned after 0-4 start. I haven't liked him since he dissed our defense before the Penn St game in 2012 (even though it gave our guys an incentive to go out and beat them) then left PSU after committing to stay more than two years. Plus he came to PSU from the cheating Patriots.

I wish you wouldn't be so reticent and make it so hard for us to figure out your real opinions! ;-) Seriously, I don't disagree with the thrust of these remarks.

Astoundingly overrated coach, who was also the General Manager of the Texans too. His trade of DeAndre Hopkins will go down as one of the worst trades in NFL History. Hopefully, O'Brien's trademark arrogance left the building with him.

Tbh, he has the best offensive scheme in the NFL. His mix of playaction and west coast is pretty phenomenal. I know it doesn't show but he lacks a solid RB and pass blockers. He has a run-oriented offense live with D-Watkins running for his life in pass plays. And Bill didn't run D-HOP out of town. Upper level management has been They play the toughest NFL schedule in my AFC (Colts fan) along with Chiefs and Ravens on their schedule. He definitely didn't get the job done in the first quarter of the season (totally agree) but I think the firing could've have waited until he got into conference play at 0-2. Texans can still win the division. They are still a threat.

The best hiring for the "old Oilers" is to hire Romeo Crennel as their Head Coach and let an OC do their thing...instead of Bill running offense. Houston teams are better with defensive coaches.
