I watch games using Sling and ESPN+. Does anyone have a good solution for watching this game without signing up long-term for something I won't use?

I haven't heard or seen any other mentions of Daxon despite still being on the roster and appearing in some of the videos from practice that have been posted on Twitter. Doesn't appear to be injured.

If memory serves me correctly, I think Frank, in one of his early conference calls or shows, referenced eligibility still being an issue for him. I assume he was just talking about this season. If that’s the case, and it’s the NCAA holding things up for him, his situation seems to me to be every bit as perplexing as the CMU QB. Maybe someone (BTC?) can offer more about the situation?

This should be a respite from the defensive pressure we saw last week and likely will see the rest of the season. Against CMU we gave up five sacks, two TFLs and two QB hurries. Last week, Akron managed just one sack, one TFL and no hurries against WMU. We should play ahead of the sticks most of the night tonight. The QBs should have plenty of time in the pocket and there should be little pressure on the running game.

Defensively, we should get more pressure on them. We had no sacks last week but three hurries. Just a step slow getting to the QB. WMU registered three sacks and seven TFLs at Akron last week. "...and long" should be a frequent expression we hear when Akron has the ball tonight.

BTW, ESPN gives us a 95% chance of winning.

No game is an easy game in the MAC. I, for damn sure, am not counting this as an auto-win against Akron. Every year, even when I was there, we had a terrible game against the opp we are suppose to beat.

As stated by a previous commenter, we always get hit in the mouth first and then decide to wake up.

So that's my halftime analysis. Akron is playing cover 2 on 1st down and mixing nickel and LB blitz on 3rd down.

Akron is spreading us out and hitting crossing routes. No blitzes and the DL is getting doubleteamed. Why are we not blitzing 4 freshman lineman? I need an explanation for that.

Also why is Dorsa covering a speedy WR in the slot that runs corners and outs. Wow! Where is our nickel?
