I will be watching the WMU and CMU. Winner of this is in drivers seat and possibly top-tiebreaker for the West. Both teams have good depth but my initial thoughts are that WMU has a few more playmakers. WMU 45 - CMU 42.

Watching the BG-Buffalo game. Bg is loading the box and going man to man and daring Van Trease to throw deep. Like the defensive schemes with the CHAOS defense they are running (every man on the line takes a gap). We will see how long this holds up though before Patterson gets warmed up.

Don't look now, Akron tied with Kent at 28 just before the half.

Of course, Akron has been outscored 34-7 since then.

Kent will be tough for us. They run a true hurry-up offense, snapping the ball with 15-20 seconds left on the play clock. And they have plenty of weapons. Our defense will need to be ready immediately when they ball is marked for play.

Kent's defense hasn't been impressive tonight. Granted, Akron has been helped by a couple of turnovers but they have almost 400 yds total offense and Dollard has rushed for 202 (which is only the second-best effort tonight).

Sean Lewis is a hell of a coach. Imagine he's gone after this year.
