I'm putting my money on cancellation by midday Thursday. Frank and Co. don't want to play again this year.

Kent State's offense has been crazy good, averaging over 600 yards per game.

OHIO has a few non-scholarship guys on the team that risk it without remuneration but rather for the love of competition. Surely those on scholies and those being paid should be very excited to play football--no deep freeze expected Saturday. Many talk about bowl games giving a team a chance to extend the season so why wouldn't MOST want to get a game in for next year?

Or am I not catching your drift?

Canceled by KSU because of Covid issues. Already some speculation that we could play OSU.

With all of these cancellations, when are folks going to face the facts that we should just call it a year. Eight purple counties in Ohio and we're worrying about playing games. Just shaking my head.

Make it a doubleheader - Bobcats football v. o$u at noon, followed by The Ohio University v. o$u in basketball in the evening.

Both in Athens.

The Minneapolis Star ran an editorial this week calling on the B10 to pack it in. https://wcfcourier.com/opinion/editorial/editorial-its-ti...

The Pac-12 has already lost five bowl games to the virus, so you have to wonder whether they'll cancel the games they were planning to play on the 19th, the day after the conference championship game. There isn't much need for them.

And here I thought Covid would be over the day after the election.

The election will not be over until all legal votes are counted.

I made a bet with a friend who claimed covid would disappear after the election, regardless of the result of the election. He conceded today when he shared that his teenage son tested positive and he and his wife have to quarantine. Second easiest bet I've ever made (easiest was a game of HORSE v. SBH in the old Grover Center gym).

It was going to magically disappear (hand motion) - and that was by Easter of 2020.

Have to be honest, that's where I got the impetus for my post. I'm guessing that Athens County will be red with a star come tomorrow afternoon based on the increase in hospitalizations this week. Having teams come into and go out of the county would be grossly irresponsible.
