Between our game being cancelled as well as the Kent, our next opponent, Miami game also being cancelled I would estimate the season is over.
With the new rule, where this season does not effect a players eligibility, it will be interesting to see how many seniors come back for next year. I would think that schools that have more seniors returning will have a leg up for next year. This will also effect recruiting in a big way.
Thoughts?

We know that Patterson will be gone to the NFL after this season -- he'll strike while the iron's hot and not risk injury next year. He IS the Buffalo team, so that means Ohio, Fiami and Kent will be the favorites for next year, assuming that at least most of their seniors return.
This season amounted to an extension of the spring ball season that was cut short. We got about four months of additional practice, some PT for the newbies and had a chance to work on the QB situation. If Rourke recovers ok, we should be in pretty good shape for next year.
As for recruiting, all or nearly all incoming freshmen will be redshirted next year. That means the full recruiting class will likely have a year of getting used to the system without using up eligibility, which bodes well for the following season. A big question mark may be Solich's contract. It runs out next year, so are recruits thinking it will be his last and pass us by?
