Is Sanders the only reason he went? I don't get it, why would a promising G5 WR drop down to FCS? It would be different if he wasn't cutting it in FBS.
There has to be more to it than our "offense" (especially given a 3 game season as the "benchmark"). If Rourke can stay healthy, we can have one of the best passing quarterbacks in recent Bobcat history.

Seems a bad move to me, but they are just kids.
Who knows. I wonder if the fact that they're playing this spring contributes. Not only does he not have to sit a season, but he can play in 3 months.

If he's playing because he likes to play, actually playing would be nice.

He's listed on JSU's roster (without a picture) but has no stats through their first three games.

Edit: Apparently they're using him on special teams. In two games he has seven total tackles, 3 solo and 4 assisted.

Sanders will be a train wreck, just like he was at the prep school he coached.
But he cuts a good promo for Subway.

What he brings is publicity and maybe some money for the program. He has already blasted the facilities at JSU and if he can get them upgraded it might be worth it for the program.

Shane Hooks was magical. He was clearly one of the best deep threats in the MAC, no question. I hate to see him go. There just arent enough footballs to go around-Ohio has an embarrassment of offensive riches. WR Isiah Cox will be in the top three WRs in the MAC next year. if he is not the best. RB Tuggle is an exceptional player, also maybe number 1. RB Allison was an amazing freshman and can be exceptional. When healthy, WR Jerome Buckner is elite. He has legit sub 4.4 speed. Under the radar perhaps now, WR Keegan Wilburn has a chance to blow this league up. Ohio has so many great skill player that some players who dont get the ball enough. I think what Ohio is returning at "skill position," along with the Luehrmans at TE, and Rourke at QB, could be the best group in the MAC.
