Connelly is projecting a tie between Ohio and Buffalo at 5-3, the only two teams with winning MAC records. He rates the Ohio-Buffalo game as a toss-up but says statistically Buffalo is the likely favorite. Ohio has the most toss-up games among MAC teams -- 6.

You'll probably need an ESPN+ account to open them.

I don't know how Buffalo can be the favorite after losing basically their entire offense in two running backs? Toss in the linebacker who was a stud and the fact that we return our ENTIRE offense and I think we have the edge. The only thing against us would be that we never live up to expectations so perhaps that's the decider.
