Per PJ Media: "Specifically, the NCAA violated the Sherman Anti-Trust Act by duly restraining colleges from compensating student athletes." PJ Media further notes that "the decision only concerns the NCAA's 'education related' compensation rules."

Further, the court opines that "it should have to allow colleges to pay their money-making sports stars."

I believe colleges can now compensate athletes with benefits other than paying a salary or fee.

They said they must be academic benefits. I wonder how that will be defined. I’m glad to see something done. Coaches making millions.

Having marveled for years at the absolute hypocrisy of college sports, I find this decision delightfully amusing. Now the wheeling and dealing involved in recruiting should become really quite entertaining. Let the games begin!!!
