We want WMU to win, right? I mean besides always wanting Miami to lose.

I feel like that if we lose at home to Miami then we are very unlikely to make the MACCG. If we lose at WMU, which we'd be a small underdog if it were played today I feel like we have a decent shot at 6-2 if WMU runs the table with Ohio having wins over Miami and Buffalo. If we win at Buffalo I think that it is likely that they will lose to someone other than us, possibly Miami. I haven't done any math but I think our chances of getting in at 6-2 are better if WMU wins mostly because in that situation I believe our second loss is more likely to be at WMU

this my logic as well. win every other game BUT WMU, and we probably get in with two loses bc of tie breaks. So WMU beating Miami is the desired outcome and then WMU not losing more than one game down the stretch.

I guess it doesn't matter either way. But Miami has 0 losses. If Ohio loses to Miami and wins out, should still be in MAC Championship Game. Beat Miami, even better.

A loss to Miami is two losses for Ohio and CMU only has 1 loss. Granted CMU has to play WMU (on the road), Toledo, Buffalo, Kent State. CMU did lose to Akron and defeat EMU, BG and UMass so no indication if they are actually good. The scenario where Ohio and WMU both end up with 2 losses but Ohio defeats WMU would put the Bobcats in the MACCG.

What if Ohio beats Miami and then loses at WMU, Miami loses another game along the way . . . and those 3 teams all finish 6-2?
