Seemed like OU was on a bye this weekend.

Thank God for the BYE.

I'm willing to turn the page - and set the book on fire, if this was the one dumb game they drop. Unfortunately, after that BALLS debacle - I have no idea what to think about this team. Trying not to read much into it, because I think I'd cry, but I think this was their first W vs OU since 2010? Somewhere way back yonder. This one was circled as an easy win. And there aren't many of those. Inexcusable to lose the gimmes.

Is Western the bright shining star of the MAC? They have 2 wins and scored 35 points.
Buffalo? They have 2 wins and have given up more points than anyone not named Akron.

Good for them. They found a way, but these are the teams looking down - and they're very beatable. If we dont beat ourselves first.

In my head, my top 3 hasn't changed, and likely won't.

BG about to do us a big solid here.

Up 28-21 on Toledo with 3 min to go. They have the ball.

Nice to see the exiting and entering MAC teams getting slashed.

When's the last time a new BG coach beat his rival in a debut?

Congrats Eddie George. Big win for the Falcons.

Northern Illinois just doesn't blow me away with anything. 1-5 indeed.

We have no excuse dropping to NIU next week.

I caught some of the 2nd half of the UT-BG game on ESPN-U.

1) BG announced before the game that it was a sellout, but it looked far from a full house on TV. Still, a good crowd and MAC atmosphere.

2) ESPN color commentator Dustin Fox on at least 3 occasions in the second half mentioned he had no words to describe the action on the field. Isn't that his job, to be able to portray what the viewers are seeing on the field? I think I can find words if given the chance and I'd be willing to do it for half of his salary. Oh well, what can you expect from a former buckeye football player?

A good TV sports announcer knows when to shut up and let the crowd noise tell the story. BUT this didn't seem to be one of those occasions.

It looked like a sellout in the first half. In the second halt there were a few empty areas in the corners. I suspect that some fair-weather BG fans left at halftime because their team looked so putrid. It really was a game two different halves -- for both teams.

Players need to let that burn in their belly for another week. WMU did to Balls what we should have done.

WMU looks like the best team in the MAC. Took care of Toledo as well.

Ball State had 5 first downs...
1/13 on third down...
88 total yards...
And guess what? BSU did not have a sack against WMU.

Are we that bad?

I wonder what WMU’s payroll is for players? That $50,000,000 gift to their sports programs has to be going somewhere. I’m kind of guessing it may now be tops in the MAC ;-)

We lost to a team that lost a MAC game 42-0.

That sentence alone gives me very little confidence in this team.

Oh, yeah, and WMU had five sacks and ten TFLs. Their D was all over BSU's O line.
