South Alabama (which beat Southern Miss) has been an FBS team since 2012. They play in the Sun Belt.

And South Bama won 31-7 at that. Circle November 20th on your betting (for entertainment purposes only of course) calendar as they travel to Knoxville, with the students gone for Thanksgiving, to upset the has-been vols.

7th/8th-ranked Iowa State almost joined the list, beating Northern Iowa at home 16-10.

And Kansas fans stormed the field after the Jayhawks scored a TD with 1:22 to go and beat South Dakota 17-14 in Leipold's debut as their coach.
