This cannot last can it? And yet another shot of Albin looking like he was just thrown in because the head coach was ejected.

What is this play calling??
Non-existent. This team has given up. No emotion. No passion. Rourke is awful but because of his name...come on!!

What is Rourke thinking throwing a little dink pass on 3rd and 8? That was his decision, had to be other options.

I'd rather see Rogers at QB and if they wanna have Rourke also out there also, okay.

I think we went from MAC doormat to most-consistent but never-quite the best MAC team on the will of Frank. Now there's nothing behind him.

Maybe something happened and I missed it. I spoke to Frank about CJ Harris and he was very high on the young man. Why not?

It was a WR screen on 3rd down

It was forced, nothing there. May have got 2 yards.

Why are we calling a screen inside our own 20…

Ludicrous use of QBs. Pointless.

Louisiana has 31 transfers on the roster including some big name schools (like Alabama) which is common in better mid-majors these days. Charlotte (who upset Duke) has FIFTY transfers.

Just sayin'

So let's go get some transfers then.

Troy always took NQ's that were Alabama and Auburn rejects. The transfer portal just makes it easier.

I can tell you from a very reliable source from the program that Armani Rogers transferring to Ohio has had a direct impact on CJ Harris' status with this team. Remember, when Rogers first transferred to Ohio, it was supposed to be for one year as a grad transfer. But then Covid happened and not only did Rogers get the additional year, he exercised it. And who has this impacted on the team the most? CJ Harris. It has now set him back two years from snaps in practice to potential playing time. This is the kind of thing I dislike about bringing in a grad transfer QB in a normal year, let alone this unusual additional year situation.

Maybe not. That was probably the most imaginative thing the offense has done so far this year. Spent several plays setting that up.

Headed back to Cleve Era.

The Lost Symbol may be an option. I can't watch this and return all of the text messages I am getting about our program.

As far as I can recall, we were never rated that high in the preseason under Coach Bryant as we were this year. Sideline shots of the coaching staff range from exasperation to fear. The players look lost on the field, defense doesn't seem to know where to go. Offensively, it isn't much better pass patterns look like they were drawn up by some random kids playing together at the local park. I hope I never see another season start as poorly for the rest of my life. Everytime I think it can't get worse, it does.

Once again..Rogers led us downfield after a great defensive stand. Then Rourke has a goose egg and looks like a jerk on TV lecturing Allison after he makes a terrible throw. Rourke is D2 at best. He is the Saul Phillips of JD Spragues.

Why did we abandon the run game when it was working?

Why does Coach Albin like choose the worst decision that can be made?

There was time to run the ball with a couple of minutes left in the half. Quick 3-and-out leads to the hometown refs gifting the Cajuns 7 points.

He was not in.

I have never played a down of football myself, but I'm 100% certain I can call a better offense than what we are getting from this staff. How do we completely abandon the only thing that's currently working for us?? So incredibly frustrating...

I usually don't complain about the refs, but that last drive of the half by Louisiana had some of the horsesh*tiest reffing I've seen. Not only on the TD play, but go back to the :45 mark when Lewis was dancing around in the backfield, finally threw it to the far side of the field, inbounds, and the receiver had to run out of bounds. According to the clock, that took only three seconds. C'mon. The next two plays, which were quick outs, took three and four seconds. No way that first play took the same amount of time. If the clock had been right, they would never had gotten that last play.

Our D finally played three or four good series but it's difficult to really gain momentum when the refs don't know what the hell they're doing. MAC refs?

Is Brian Knorr the shadow coach in the booth? This looks all too familiar.

At least they're showing some imagination, but you're right. The offense seems to have more energy with Rogers in the game.
