Like about all the New England teams, they're footballers in lacrosse country. Fan interest is hard to come by, especially when the team has been down so long and the stadium they use is 20 miles away from campus. They've managed to schedule a few home games that could boost attendance -- Purdue and Houston this year, BC and Syracuse next year, Duke and NC State in '23 -- but most of their home games are still against G5 teams from the south, midwest and west that average fans would show little interest in. Most of their "name" opponents over the next few years -- Clemson, Michigan, Tennessee, O$U -- seem to be money road games or part of a b-ball deal. Getting a quality coach might be tough.
