Not gonna happen. The losing will, but not the scrapping of the coach after his first year. Reckless use of resources, bad PR.
I don't know anything about Coach Albin as a person.
Does anyone, who does know him, think if the season continues as it has, he'd either resign or take a lesser buy out ?
A good friend/former roommate of mine is neighbors with Albin. I advised my friend tell Albin that no matter how bad it gets, don’t quit/resign: make them fire his [butt]. The AD made her bed, let her sleep in it, buyout and all. (Because he’s not going to get a better paying position than this)
No idea if this was actually communicated or if Albin would follow this advice in any case
