This week it was Allison and the first few weeks it was Cox. I don't mind a coach disciplining players, but I don't remember so many key players sitting out for short periods.

I've never heard the reason behind Meservey's absence. Injury, grades, discipline?

Good question. And, I wonder how many of these disciplinary measures have been imposed by the coach, and how many have been imposed by higher-level authority.
