Even though the early fg was badly missed, it wasn't exactly a short kick. we no doubt have to be more reliable in the kicking game and occasionally hit a long one though. The PATs we're missing are no doubt stupid but we countered that with the 2-point conversion later. I don't think you can say kicking cost us yesterday. We had the ball with the lead in the 4th and failed to even run the clock. We missed every 50-50 ball that CMUKareem was just chucking up on the sidelines, including a critical play right before the game winning TD, a ball that should have been picked and was nearly stolen for a TD.

Bad (or unlucky)teams find ways to lose. Nebraska has lost 18 one score games since Frost has been coach, can Albin match that record? I sense Solich had more than his share as well.

Isn't the last time the Cats lost a MAC game by more than one score in 2015 (to BSUcks). That's really long string.

I've been watching since Syracuse. The snap/hold has been terrible. Most misses have been because of poor ball placement, either because of a high or low snap and the inability of the holder to get the ball in position.
