What would you say about accepting the outcome of something you have no control over, such as a football game in which you are merely a spectator?
I don't know anyone who has trouble with accepting the results of a football loss, though it may be painful, except the most diehard O$U fans who think they've never lost a game except for crooked officials, dirty playing by the opponents, bad calls, or some combination, thereof, and that their all time record reflects no legitimate losses.
