Worthwhile to watch today's presser video. The parade of excellence is on its second lap of the Ohio athletics complex. Good times.

He's always "excited" about a lot of things in every interview and keeps his cool despite being 1-6.

When you’re pulling in his salary, you probably get over things a lot faster.

Looking on the bright side we have under 3.5 years of this left.

The last time I felt so strongly about the need for change in the head coaching position was in PaPaL's last year. About midway through the seasion, after some real bonehead plays in a game, I walked out of the stadium early in the second half and vowed never to come back to Peden until we had a new coach. And, I kept my promise. As those around me will attest, I'm usually a stay-until-the-clock-reads-zero kind of guy, whether it's a tight game, we are winning big or losing big. I'll be there on Saturday, but my patience is wearing thin.

You mean that last year where the coach was dealing with severe health issues that had him hospitialized for part of the actual season?

I have no idea what you are talking about. He certainly wasn't hospitalized when I walked out. He was on the sidelines. Af that point I really stopped paying much attention until he was canned.

Indeed.

I'm feeling a little conflicted right now. I really want to see the team win some games this year...I really do... I'm afraid they'll win JUST ENOUGH to keep Milton.

IIRC, Coach L. collapsed on the sidelines prior to a game in his last year and was hospitalized at least a week for heart issues.

I kind of have a vauge memory of that, now that you mention it. What I do remember well is that my father had died in August, so I'm sure that probably was a factor in how I reacted to the situation. When one is dealing with grief your emotions tend to be on edge.
